Aaron Davis, Ph.D.

Dr. Aaron Davis is an innovative academic leader with a proven record of designing and launching pioneering degree and certificate programs in biotechnology, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, UX design, and functional genomics. At Utah Tech University, he has served as assistant professor, department chair, associate dean, and now interim dean of the College of Science, Engineering & Technology.

Over the past decade, Dr. Davis has secured competitive grants to expand faculty positions, research opportunities, and institutional capacity. He is dedicated to advancing work-based learning by developing signature initiatives and leading regional STEM outreach that engages hundreds of students each year.

Passionate about building bridges between academia, industry, and the community, Dr. Davis focuses on preparing the next generation of learners to thrive in a rapidly evolving technological landscape. His leadership centers on collaboration, innovation, and creating programs that serve as catalysts for entrepreneurship, workforce development, and regional economic growth.
